I wanted to first wish all you wounded fellas a swift recovery. You have no idea how much I miss smacking your head.
I was on the Drudgereport and came across a video of a robber. The violence isn't all that nasty, but the video is of a 91 year old women getting purse snatched. I have no idea who the operator of the camera was, but he is 1 of two things:
1. A master profiler
2. A officer of some kind who knows the guy
Either way, the camera operator was on this guy. The mugging is pretty typical. Natch and grab type of weakling behavior. Watch the before robbery behavior. Watch him stalk the neighborhood. Watch him case the streets in BROAD daylight looking for a mark.

Watch what a predator does. Watch how he acts. It will save your life!
With regard to range stuff we talk about all the time (like last class), here is a video of an actual armed robbery.

Did the victims have a chance to defend themselves?
Here's another knife robbery for you all to look at. Imagine yourself holding your own child. What are you going to do to survive?

The Opposite of what we teach...
Well, maybe not the COMPLETE opposite, but damn close.
This video is of a retired boxer named "Prince" Naseem Hamed. In the sense of sport fighting, this guy was really amazing. How would he do in a street fight? I don't know. He had AMAZING footwork and speed. Although it isn't what we teach, this highlight video is very entertaining. One thing to watch is his forward movement. Although he has different footwork that has been designed to be in a ring, Naseem uses excellent bursting forward movement. His evasions are top notch too, but once again, not really for the street.

The problem with his fighting on the street is with the theory. Showmanship, dancing, and all that garbage are the types of things that get you killed in a street fight. Cut it with the fancy garbage and survive. Win at all costs, don't become the bad guy while you are doing it.
See you all soon!
