June 28, 2009 - Class Supplement

OK, so here's the deal...

The have changed the options I have for the blog so now it is going to take some getting used to. Unfortunately, I don't have time right this minute to figure it out, but the main problem is that it is no longer letting me in close links.

I found about 10 really good videos about the stuff we worked on in class, but I did put one of the links (probably the best one on front kicks I found) at the top of the posting. But oh well! the show must go on!

Just so everyone is clear, we DO have class tomorrow! It will be at the normal time of 4. Hope everyone can make it. Unless we tell you guys otherwise, you should all be wearing some sort of athletic clothing to class. Basically any type of comfortable shorts or pants without any buttons, zippers, rivets, thumb-tacs, or stuff like that will work. For a shirt, same types of rules apply.

Another really good suggestion I can give everyone is to start on a combat style of work out. Nothing huge, maybe just a few Hindu Push Ups, Hindu Squats, Bridging, Turkish Get Ups, a day. Feel free to do more, but those types of work outs will help you not get injured and of course make you a little more healthy. Feel free to ask Chris or I about it in class.
